Jill Mingo

Jill has happily called Kingston home since 1987. Growing up, she played piano and flute, and enjoyed the challenge of entering Conservatory examinations.

She earned the ARCT Performer diploma in Piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Subsequently six years of pipe organ lessons culminated in the ARCT Performer diploma in Organ.

She holds a BA in Social Anthropology from Edinburgh University, and MMus in Organ Performance from University of Toronto.

Now retired after twenty years as organist and choir director, Jill is excited to be involved with Joe's Music Mill as its education component evolves.
