Joe’s Music Mill will open our doors at the Rideau Heights Community Centre (Multi Purpose Room) to older adults in the community and provide instruments and basic music instruction (if desired) and the opportunity to play music in a group.

About the event
Why: Because learning a musical instrument has many advantages for older adults including use of fine motor skills, stress reduction, improved memory and the opportunity to socialize
Who: Adults – 55+
When: Every Wednesday – 5:00 – 6:00 PM
Where: Rideau Heights Community Centre – Multi-Purpose Room
As well from 5:00 – 6:00 we will hold a pop-up library where anyone over 16 years of age with a Joe’s Music Mill membership (subsidies are available if needed) can borrow instruments to take home from (and return them to) this location.
