Joe’s Music Mill
School “Experience” Program
Threading the needle of snow days in December and January we delivered our musical instrument program to several schools in the Limestone District. 950 children from Kindergarten to Grade 8 were introduced to a wide range of musical instruments led by inspiring music educator Ben Reed.
We're very pleased to report that we are currently offering a music program to 12 classes at École Madeleine-de-Roybon a French elementary school in Kingston. The curriculum-based program, consisting of two one-hour sessions per class, offers students at the school the opportunity to learn about music while getting hands-on experience in playing instruments brought in from Joe's Music Mill.

About our Education Programs
Joe’s Music Mill is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to musical instruments to everyone who would benefit from playing them. We feel that education is a key component of ensuring that benefit is realized by all age groups. We introduce musical instruments and inspire an interest in playing music and its benefits for social, emotional, and cognitive development.
