Joe’s Music Mill to Participate in Inclusive Playground Event

Updated: Jul 30

Joe’s Music Mill will be participating in the Inclusive Playground Event hosted by the Kingston Frontenac Rotary Club on June 8th at Shannon Park. This event is an excellent opportunity for us to engage with the community, demonstrate our instruments, and highlight the importance of inclusivity.

Event Details:

Date: June 8, 2024

Location: Shannon Park

Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Why This Event Matters to Us:

At Joe’s Music Mill, we believe in the power of music to bring people together, promote inclusivity, and enhance the quality of life. The Inclusive Playground Event aligns perfectly with our mission to make music accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability. By participating in this event, we aim to showcase how music can be a part of inclusive play, fostering a sense of

community and belonging.

What to Expect:

Anthea Feaver (a Kingston-based folk musician and singer songwriter) will be present at our booth throughout the event. Throughout the day, she will be demonstrating a variety of instruments from our extensive library and offering simple instruments for attendees to try out. This hands-on experience is designed to encourage children and adults alike to explore the joy of making music.

Join Us:

We invite you to join us at the Inclusive Playground Event on June 8th. Come meet Anthea, try out some instruments, and learn more about how Joe’s Music Mill is making a difference in our community. Together, we can celebrate the joy of music and the spirit of inclusivity.
